These pictures are of a display plaque that I designed and constructed for a very dear friend. The exotic wood used is Sapele, a very beautiful dark wood similar to walnut in color but with a gold flake running through the grain that makes it very unique. The plaque measures 16 inches wide and 9 15/16 tall with a Roman Ogee routed around the outside, and supports a custom made hunting style knife approximately 12 inches long over all.
